Welcome to LangeLinieskuret – a place where you can enjoy a glass of wine while overlooking the harbor and immersing yourself in a piece of Copenhagen’s history.
The building was designed by Copenhagen’s star architect Vilhelm Dahlerup, known for iconic landmarks such as the Royal Theatre and the National Gallery of Denmark, and has stood on the waterfront for more than 130 years. Today, it has been given new life through a careful renovation by Karberghus in collaboration with Danish architect David Thulstrup
The recent transformation includes the wine bar Langelinieskurets Vinbar and event spaces by Office Club, thoughtfully created to respect the building’s original character while adapting it to contemporary use.
Karberg is known for their commitment to preserving history while strengthening local identity, and the renovation of LangeLinieskuret is no exception. The design honors the building’s heritage while opening up stunning ocean views and creating a vibrant setting that connects guests with the site’s rich past.
The interior features the Font collection — armchairs, swivel armchairs, and bar stools — designed by David Thulstrup.
